Hello! My name is Liz, and I'm the crochet artist behind all the designs you see. I am self taught, and learned the basic stitches in 2020. I discovered the art of tapestry crochet in 2024, and now I couldn't be more thrilled to share my craft with others and share what I truly believe to be the spark I was looking for.
A majority of my inspiration that stems from my life into my work is music, film, pop culture, and any odd idea that pops into my brain at 2 am. I've always struggled with being able to portray the kind of art I wanted to put into the world, and now I feel I've truly been able to express myself through my designs!
For me, crocheting felt so monotonous and less than thrilling for the longest time. I first discovered tapestry crochet through various videos, different creators, and felt an urge to see what else I could do with crochet that wouldn't make my brain feel like it needs to run away and do something else. I learned how to draw with pixels and translate imagery into crochet charts after many trials and errors, and began releasing my own patterns in 2025.
I am so thankful for the support received, my followers, and the incredible friends I've made in the crocheting community. I truly never expected much from posting the things I'd make while bed rotting, and I am sure glad I've put myself and my work out there since then.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read, acknowledge, and show your support for my work. I am the most active on my Instagram, and am always happy to answer any questions. :)
Much love,
Liz (@elz.loops)
